New moon in Capricorn and Solstice

Christmas is almost here (sorry to give you sweaty palms if you still have Christmas shopping to be done – eeek!). With the new moon in Capricorn on 25 December, it is a great opportunity to take stock and start next year revitalized and refreshed.  Capricorn is the sign of the zodiac that has to do with work, goals and wanting to climb up the ladder. So although 2011 may have been a little rocky, we can all stride confidently into 2012 and create opportunities we would like with some focus and alignment.

With Christmas approaching as well as the new year, it is great to be able to take a moment to review the year. Sometimes a year can go by at the rate of light, so that it is a major blur until we look into it in more detail. Be sure to take a moment – just one. Sit back and be the observer – take just a breath and sit in gratitude for the year that was, for the meal in front of you on Christmas day or for laughter of your friends and family.
